River Road Labs is a small independent iOS studio. This page describes what all of our apps have in common. Each app also has its own policy, linked at the bottom — those are the authoritative ones, and where an app does something specific, it says so there.

What every app has in common

No accounts. Nothing to sign up for, no sign-in, no profile.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
No servers. We don't run any. There is no place for your data to be collected, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Your content stays on your device — settings, progress, saved cities, workout history, logs — stored on your phone and in your own device backups.
Nothing is sold or shared. There is nothing to sell.

The exception worth naming

A few apps need live information that can only come from somewhere else, so they make a request directly from your device to a third party. We never see those requests, but the third party does, and their privacy policy governs their end:

Weather Gnome sends coordinates to Open-Meteo to fetch a forecast. Location access is optional — you can search for cities by name instead.
Stock Gnome requests public market data from Yahoo Finance for the ticker symbols you add. The request carries no personal information beyond what any web request carries, such as your IP address, which we never receive.

Every other app makes no network requests in normal use. ZoneCycle talks only to your own fitness equipment over Bluetooth, and that data never leaves your phone.

Children

The apps collect no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address, with the date above revised.
